The Copperhead® CDI is a replacement CDI for the carbureted 2004-2006 Yamaha Rhino 660 UTV. Comes complete with the Copperhead® CDI and a machine specific wiring harness with mating connectors. Our high energy and repetitive fire ignition allows for crisper throttle response, reduced fuel consumption, while giving substantial power gains.

Below is the latest firmware and maps for the CDI. The map title indicates the machine, limiters, octane for each switch position, and revision. The machine and revision MUST match that of the firmware for proper operation.
MAP/FIRMWARE UPDATE DIRECTIONS
Below is the breakdown on how the map naming convention works:
Map Octane
1) safety-87 octane. This map is what was loaded when your CDI left our facility if no changes were requested.
Map #1 is loaded with 87 octane, and factory style safety limiters.
Map #2 is optimized for 87 octane, with all limiters disabled.
2) safety-91 octane.
Map #1 is loaded with 87 octane, and factory style safety limiters.
Map #2 is optimized for 91 octane, with all limiters disabled.
3) 87-91 octane.
Map #1 is optimized for 87 octane, with all limiters disabled.
Map #2 is optimized for 91 octane, with all limiters disabled.
